A dialogue between light, art and the view

browse projects

This private apartment is defined by its spacious living areas and expansive view across Lake Zurich, which forms an integral part of everyday life in the home. As part of the refurbishment, the existing lighting was carefully upgraded to complement the architecture and interiors while maintaining a strong connection with the surrounding landscape. The new solutions were developed in close dialogue with the clients and sensitively integrated into the existing structure.

Particular attention was given to the artworks throughout the apartment. Paintings, sculptures and carefully selected objects are highlighted with precisely positioned, understated lighting. This allows each piece to make its presence felt without the lighting drawing attention to itself, contributing to a calm and cohesive overall atmosphere.

Coordinated lighting scenes create a range of atmospheres throughout the day and into the evening. Carefully balanced levels of brightness and contrast maintain the visual connection with the lake after nightfall, creating a seamless relationship between the interior and the view beyond.
