Rhine Park, Weil am Rhein

The competition around the Rhine Park requested not only to contemplate the renovation and remodeling of the park itself. Solutions for a consistent promenande along the river Rhine connecting the city of Basel with the city of Weil were requested beside ideas for urban development. The assessment committee selected two out of eleven projects, which are very different, but convincing. The two favorite projects were awarded the 2nd prize and will have the opportunity to refine the proposals in a second phase.
