Carola had a first approach to the lighting design practice in theatrical and museum fields during university studies, where she discovered the importance and the power of this discipline, learning to use the light as a tool capable of conveying emotions, exploiting the magic of theatre and art to create ever-changing atmospheres.

Shortly after she started working for architectural lighting design firms on permanent projects, dedicated to a much larger number of users, introducing new challenges related to the dialogue between natural and artificial light and to the impact that this was making on people, nature and wildlife.

In her free time, she focuses on continuing education at SLG and APIL, she loves to play plenty of sports and enjoys immersing herself in nature on a sailboat whenever possible.
